Graduate Telemetry Technician

IDS are an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of electrical engineering. Our areas of expertise include hazardous areas, PLC/SCADA, telemetry integration, electrical engineering design, installation, project management and preventive maintenance.

We have recently been allocated a position on the Scottish Water Telemetry framework, which will last between 6-10 years.

Due to our continued expansion we are seeking to recruit Graduates to join our rapidly growing teams in our Falkirk/ Inverness and Glasgow offices.

The successful candidate will ideally have an electronic engineering degree, but we may also look at those with a good software degree.

The role is for telemetry engineers, and candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of engineering and software principles.

Main duties of the role are:

Writing software using pre-written objects.

Testing Software to an Enterprise platform.

On site commissioning/testing of remote telemetry units.

Project management.

All candidates must have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

We require between 6-8 people, and these roles presents an excellent salary and benefits package to the right person, with the opportunity to break into the water industry.
