Stoneybridge WTW provides drinking water for a large proportion of the residents of South Uist, with an output of 2.54 Mld. The primary driver for the investment is drinking water quality, with inadequate treatment processes in place, and inadequate control of those processes. The secondary driver was to improve the overall condition of the asset.
