DSEAR Risk assessments are an essential requirement to ensure compliance of all electrical equipment installed within hazardous areas. The standards are BS EN 60079-14 and BS EN 60079-17. IDS are ‘defined approved’ by SELECT and employ engineers accredited with Compex. These engineers will undertake full inspections, reporting and installation of equipment to meet these requirements.

Project History:

IDS were contracted by GMJV to carry out DSEAR risk assessments on a programmed basis, in various areas of Scotland, including Inverclyde.
